Tony Spilotro Bio

By Dennis Griffin

The Biography Channel is producing a biography of Tony Spilotro for their Mobster series. They are interested in interviewing me for the program as well as several of the sources from my books. Unfortunately for me, I’m currently in New York and the tapings will be in Las Vegas at the end of June. If details regarding expenses can be worked out I’ll fly back to Vegas for the interview. Either way, I’ll let you know when the program will debut.

    Hi,
I am very interested in this subject matter and find this era of contrversy very educational and would love to gain a greater understanding of nonfictional information regarding this subject. I would love to hear about the release date of this biography and if there is any chance of a notification I would be highly appreciative.

    Thanks again

my family goes back to my grandmother being martha spilotro, (passed), i think tony and michael were either her cousins, or brothers, but i heard they were close. iv heard that they once found tony dead in the arizona desert, and a bit later was found living in chicago or newyork. im not sure how true the story is but i think after the 1995 movie ‘casino’ they made after him, a bio would be awsome to learn about what my family has done. im not saying im proud of what they did necessarily, but very interested to know where any italian decent of mob comes from. tony, micheal and martha had died before i was born. i really wish i had met them. i am 21 now, so any information i have gotten about them has been from the internet or my grandpa. i think this is an awsome choice of educational video. if you could, keep me updated, ill let my family know.

do you have a date when the biography channel will air the Spilotro biography? Also I here that Las Vegas crime writer Cathy Scott is writing a story about fat Herbie Blitzstein?
Do you have any info on when that book will be available? I am very interested in the Spilotro era of Las Vegas and all literature and programs pertaining to that era.
